What should I write? Help for: LeontinaBowie

The following are plot bunnies that [livejournal.com profile] leontinabowie has put up for voting.

Fandom: Harry Potter

Author Name:LeontinaBowie (Leontina on Ao3)

1. Fandom/Pairing: Harry Potter, James/Lily
Description of plotbunny: A look at their lives from Harry's birth to their death.

2. Fandom/Pairing: Harry Potter, Minerva McGonagall/Dougal McGregor
Description of plotbunny: Expanding on the information on Pottermore, what exactly did happen between these two?

3. Fandom/Pairing: Harry Potter, Harry/Luna
Description of plotbunny: Luna is strange and quirky, but she understands Harry perfectly. The problem is, no-one else can see her.

4. Fandom/Pairing: Harry Potter, Harry/Pansy
Description of plotbunny: Harry purges, and Pansy starves. They find each other, but end up doing more harm than good. (This will be a realistic look at eating disorders)

5. Fandom/Pairing: Harry Potter, Remus/Tonks
Description of plotbunny: Remus is attracted to men. Tonks is attracted to women. But love doesn't necessarily equal attraction.

I always think you should write what you feel and what flows the best, but I personally would be most interested in the last one with number two being my second choice. I am more interested in the older characters, and I find questions of gender and sexual identity very interesting. I have always liked Remus/Tonks anyway, and I think that angle would be new to explore. The James/Lily one, that has been done so much, and that bunny is just too general. So much has been written about that couple aleady, I think it would be hard to do something new and interesting, particularly without a much more specific prompt to write about. Number two, as I said, would be interesting for me to read, but I think it might be harder to write because you're basically writing about an OC.

Wow I really like five! A non-sexual het or het that's somehow queered-up would be really refreshing and fun to read, I think. (And I like Remus lol.)

These all sound so good! But I just love Harry/Luna, so I have to go with them. I also have to say that option #5, the Remus/Tonks one, was a close second for me. I'm very intrigued by both of these, but I'm sure I would enjoy any of the options listed. Good luck choosing!

Thank you everyone :)

I think I will end up choosing between option 3 and option 5, but I'm going to plot these out and see which flows better :)
