What fandom/pairing are you working on? Grayson (comic): Dick Grayson/Helena Bertinelli

Are you going for a Big or Little Bang? Big (hopefully)

How far are you into the story? Beginning, but I have a whole outline.

How many words? 4,866

I am feeling kinda stressed about how I'm gonna get 20,000 words out of this plot, but I'm making good headway when I actually sit down and write.

Anything else: As I said, I have a whole outline ready, but it's more a matter of getting to where I need to go than anything else. Write now I'm writing scenes as they come to me, so hopefully that'll cohere into something manageable.

No need to stress! You can always change to Little Bang at Mandatory Check In. And you are well on your way to getting it done. I mean, you have an outline! :) I have to admit, every time I'm faced with an outline, my muse shuts down. Clams right up and I can't get anything done. So I am always impressed when I hear how well it works for others.

What fandom/pairing are you working on? Once Upon A Time In Wonderland: Anastasia/Jafar and The Sims 3: MaryKay Shallow/Don Lothario
Are you going for a Big or Little Bang? Big for both
How far are you into the story? So far I'm just writing scenes as they come to me, but I know the basic plot of the Sims story. I keep changing the plot of the OUATIW story, God save me.
How many words? I'm not really counting the words yet since it's more of a struggle for me to get the plot nailed down than it is to get the word count met.
I am feeling… worried I still won't be certain about my stories by the time the mandatory check-in comes around. :/
Anything else: Halp. I'm settling down for my Block Writing now, so fingers crossed something useful comes out.

Plots can get sticky sometimes! But once it finally settles down, you'll get lots of words in!! And you have a whole month before mandatory check in, so you'll be ready for it. Just keep writing and plugging away and you'll be there before you know it. :)

How far are you into the story? I am...still...outlining. The problem is that I can't seem to write anything unless I have a detailed outline to work from, and there's still a pretty hefty handful of plot kinks that need to be ironed out of my outline WIP. Writing is hard. OTL
I am feeling… OPTIMISTIC, DANGIT. I've still got time. I've got plenty of time! I am going to write this fic if it freaking kills me! >:V
Anything else: Of all the obnoxious problems that come with writing for a small, dead fandom, I must say I find the complete lack of available beta readers to be especially loathsome at the moment. I'm about to go ask tumblr for a brainstorming partner or the like, though--fingers crossed!

I've sometimes found that just writing the story will iron out those kinks in the plot. And your thoughts on finding a beta to help you brainstorm is brilliant!! Another pair of eyes may just be the ticket.

Get it done no matter what!! I love that attitude. Go get 'em tiger... er... I mean, Lion!! :D

How far are you into the story? (Beginning, middle, end, etc) All over the place? Technically I'm still working on a detailed outline, but I have bits and pieces written from all over the place.
How many words? Uh... only a couple thousand that are solid.
I am feeling… A little worried, truthfully, but not too bad. The idea is in my head--now I just need the attention span to actually sit down and write it.

How far are you into the story? (Beginning, middle, end, etc) I finished the beginning, and I managed to get a slightly more detailed outline for the middle. Now I just have to write it...
How many words? I have 5200 ish in my document but more in a notebook that need to be typed up. Maybe something like 7k total?
I am feeling... Mostly okay. I don't have much on the board considering I think the story is going to get up at least 50k, but I'm also splitting my attentions currently with editing and posting another fic. But that's only got four chapters to go.
To be honest, I'm more nervous about the romance aspect itself. I'm writing this as practise because I don't have much experience with romance, but I'm worried the action/mystery elements might dominate too much.

Wow!! Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate. And I'm of the opinion that there can never be too much action/adventure in a story. :) But just keep focusing on the romance part of the story, and it will easily work itself in between the action/adventure, and sometimes during it as well. I think you'll do great!

How many words? Sadly, under 1k on all but one of them is coming along better than the others so I might be ready to pare down my fic options.

Anything else: I stated three fics because I couldn't settle on an idea but I plan on sticking with at least one of them, possibly two.
