They’ve got all kinds of things planned to help you guys get the most out of this Bang, so be sure to join the comm and hang out! (You must be a member to play, so make sure you officially join the comm of your choice, or both!)Sign-ups: Author sign-ups are now closed, but Beta and Artist Interest sign-ups are still open, so spread the word far and wide, and grab anybody you can to get in here and sign-up for those roles! And, the official list of authors participating this year is up and full of shiny people! :D
Check-In Posts: New this year, we will be posting multiple, casual check-in posts throughout the Bang. These will be places to not only let us know how things are going with you and your writing, but to check in with your fellow creators!! You can cheer, complain, panic, flail, vent, whatever you need. These will be check-ins that you are encouraged but not required to do. (Exception: The only one you absolutely must participate in is the Mandatory Check-In on August 15.) Casual check-ins will be comment based, while the big Mandatory one will be poll-based and requires emails to us (more on that when the time comes). The first Casual Check-In will be coming up on July 4.
Promo Stuff: To help spread the word about the remaining sign-ups, schedule, etc, check out this promo post or the collection of 2018 banners/icons. We have loads of fab authors who will need art and editors!
Schedule: Reminder that the schedule is as follows. (We are still in the process of officially updating the big fat FAQ post for 2018, but it will be finished and posted soon!)

Artist Claiming of Big Bang Stories - August 20th
Art and Fics Due - September 26th, 11:59 PM (Midnight) EST
Debut Date (DD) - October 1st
