Raincheck on your artist?

At this point, there's a handful of time still left on this deadline and already 70+ people have polled/sent in emails that clock them at over 9k!

And FYI, for those that haven't completed 9K by today's deadline, don't despair! Continue writing, and you can still find your artist on your own! Ask flisters, ask friends! I figure the more participation in this thing, the better. I'll only be overseeing the Official Artist Claim that goes up on August 20th, but dear writers, if you missed this deadline but complete the 25k+ fic by the Final Submission Deadline (Sept 25th, Noon PST sharp), then you deserve artwork if you can get someone to create it for you. I'll accommodate any late additions to the artist lists! Until all the way up to Sept 25th, anyway. Just please be patient with me and explain the scenario so that I understand what's going on. (I don't want to get any wires crossed, and I'm wading through an obscene amount of emails and comments right now.)

Also, please tell your personal artist to sign up on the official Artist post, with a note attached that they are specifically tied to your fic. Also, make sure they have friended this comm so that they can follow along on any admin posts and submission guidelines.

(and may I say that I had a huge smile on my face when I saw the email where you said you got my email? And that with just the words 'John/Elizabeth = Awesomeness' at the top?
