The chatgroup timings: the poll has been closed, and the results are in: Saturday from 7pm to 9pm. Thus, there are two chatgroups, both at the same time/day, just different timezones: A Timezone Converter is here is here.
Chatting will be held next Saturday, August 27th, from 7pm to 9pm, for both the USA/Canada (PST) and British-timezone (BST)!
Also, according to that other poll, we're doing "Random Stories of the Day!"

Date: 2011-08-20 11:52 am (UTC)I've been meaning to ask you something about when the stories go live on the website. When the stories are posted, will they all be in one long page, or will they be divided up into chapters, like they would on LJ? If the former, I'll need to remove some of the mark-ups to the copy that I send to you, since the first part of my story is divided into two sub-parts owing to LJ's word limits.

Date: 2011-08-20 12:14 pm (UTC)If so, it might be worth switching to the HTML view and trying then. If not, it might be worth splitting the post into two, or maybe hosting it on a webpage and just linking it, maybe? LiveJournal has been having significant problems recently, and you're not the only person who's had issues with it not letting long posts post, but I haven't seen anyone come up with a solution yet.

Date: 2011-08-20 06:20 pm (UTC)Livejournal switched it over and enabled auto-formatting, for some bizarre reason. But because I'd put the line breaks in manually as code, there were no "spaces" (like, the return key being hit, that is) for the auto-format to recognise, so it all became one big chunk. The break tags I put in simply disappeared and it all mushed together.
Sorry, I'm being confusing. I'm really tired. :p
