Artist sign ups include fifteen participants thus far. We have nearly 215 writers! You can see the problematic issues. ;) If you're an artsy-person, go over and sign up! You can see a list of potential fandom/pairings by checking out the Official Writer's List. The artists sign ups will remain open through out the challenge until all Big Bang stories will have been claimed. Remember, you can sign up to be an artist now, but claims will happen much later, on July 20th, after writers have had their mandatory check in. Claims are done on a first come, first serve basis.

In other news, het_banghelp is churning away now, with official block writing and snippet day events going underway! If you need encouragement and support in writing your fic, and honestly who doesn't? Then go over and check out this wonderful comm! It really helped a lot of people last year.

So, this het_bigbang comm will be a lot more quieter from now on, unless I have admin things that need immediate discussing/explaining. het_banghelp, our support comm, will become increasingly active from now on.

only 15 artists, for 215 writers? poor artists. At least there is 16 now. Hopefully I have enough time to claim several.

Hopefully I will be able to claim more than a handful when the time comes (I know the 2 only rule), and I'm sure that there will be more artists signing up by then.

Hi, Not sure where to ask this so will try here.
The date for the check point is coming up soon. You said we have to check in and send you 3 snippets of under 500 words. Right? Where do we send them? And is this what the artist will be using to make their art for us? Can we get in touch with the artist to give them more info on the story and plot?

I can tell you now I am definitely still Big bang as I have over 53,000 words written and nowhere near done. Let me know about the snippets.
