All right ladies & gents! The Mandatory Check-in Poll is officially closed. We sent out confirmation emails to all the Big Bangers who sent us their snippets for their artists, and we’re now working on putting together the Art Claim post, which will be up in a day or so.

I'm so excited to see everyone's plot descriptions, I can't even tell you. :) Artist claiming is one of my favorite things, and I'm not even an artist! I love seeing who picks which story, and the excitement of who will pick me (and the worry--what if no one picks me??)

My pairing is technically Eve/Alternate Jake, but I'm pretty sure my plot description makes that clear, so we're good. :)

And I hear you - I'm exactly the same!! I get really excited to see who picks what, and then I stress irrationally about not getting picked at all. XD EVERY time, lol.

OH, OH, just know that I have had my eye on yours since you sent it in, but a) I didn't want to cheat (being a mod and all and getting to see everybody's things first XD) and pick early, b) I am doing two Bangs this summer and trying to mod this one so I am telling myself not to go crazy picking people to art like I normally do, c) I feel like since I made art for you for the last HBB, I'd be like, hogging you or something this time. XD

(but seriously it's mostly that I'm freaking out about doing two bangs and I'm expecting to be needed to pinch-hit so I am trying to sit back and let everybody else claim things. But I still have my eye on yours...!!)

Wasn't sure where to post this, but I'm sorry to say that I think I need to drop out. Between RL, original fic deadlines, and exchange fics, I've just lost too much time as far as this fic is concern. I think I'll end up posting it one chapter at a time on AO3, but I don't even feel like my first chapter is complete yet.

I'm bummed, but this is probably the best for my sanity!
