LET THE ARTING BEGIN!

Okay guys and gals: to claim a story you want to do art for, please drop a comment below with the number beside the summary/story you want to claim and your email address. Remember: first come, first serve!!

Sign ups for artists as well as this claim post will remain open until all fanfics get claimed!

After you have claimed your story, you will receive an email from the mods with your writer's lj name & info, and the snippets they provided. You are free to communicate with the author directly if you should so wish (and heck, it’s encouraged. ;D)!

What are the requirements for art?
You can make whatever kind of art you feel like, in whichever medium. Drawing, painting, digital, manips, vids, fanmix, anything you can think of. We just ask that you put some time into it, as our authors have put major effort into their story. You are required to make a minimum of ONE piece of art for the story you claim. MORE IS BETTER. We love more! We want more! Based on feedback from previous years’ artists, we only have a requirement of one piece of artwork.

Make it nice, put some real effort into it!

For the first round of claims, please only choose ONE story to do. We will shortly open it up to a second round, where you may claim a second and third fic if you so wish. If you’re super ambitious and desperately want to do more than three, talk to the mods and/or leave a comment and we’ll see what we can do - you must complete what you claim, however, if at all possible. Trying to find back-up artists is a nightmare - please don’t make us do it. ;)

Summary: Felicity and her best friend Ginger go to party with some high rollers on a trip home to Las Vegas. Felicity and Oliver Queen get married as a prank but through a turn of events the marriage is legal. Oliver dies on the Gambit with his father before Felicity can tell him. Five years pass before Oliver comes home to a wife and a four year old daughter. Oliver has to make a choice to stay married to the girl he barely knows or walk away from her and his daughter.

Therefore when Professor Gandalf drops in with a group of people, including one Captain Thorin Durin, who plan to reclaim their manor in the most haunted region of Scotland, she is not exactly prepared. What follows is a road trip through post-WWII Great Britain, finally arriving at Erebor where the group, including Bella, must face down a wizard named Smaug to get their home back. Essentially follows The Hobbit with a new spin on things.

August and Lise are in the painful process of rebuilding their lives when they find out that there are papers legitimizing Lise’s son and that his claim to the throne would have support among the nobility and the people.
